Dr. Jamie Merkison is a Reproductive Endocrinologist, who sees patients in Sandy Springs.
Dr. Merkison joined Reproductive Biology Associates in the fall of 2025 after completing her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Emory University.
Dr. Merkison earned both her B.S. and M.D. degrees from Howard University through an accelerated six-year program, graduating summa cum laude and with multiple academic awards. She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. During residency, she gravitated toward the complexity of reproductive physiology and the privilege of supporting patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Dr. Merkison is dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based fertility care tailored to each patient’s unique goals. She has special clinical interests in fertility preservation, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), diminished ovarian reserve, recurrent pregnancy loss, and third party reproduction. Her approach to care is rooted in medical excellence, transparency, and compassion. Patients can expect clear communication, individualized treatment plans, and a steadfast commitment to helping them achieve their family-building goals.
