Dr. Jeremy Chang is a Reproductive Endocrinologist

Jeremy Chang, Ph.D., joined Reproductive Biology Associates (RBA) in the fall of 2005 after earning his doctorate in Animal Science with a specialization in Reproductive Biology from the University of Connecticut. Under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Nagy, the esteemed Laboratory Director Emeritus of RBA and a globally recognized leader in embryology, Dr. Chang began his career in human IVF. Since then, his primary research interests have focused on oocyte cryopreservation and embryology. Working closely with Dr. Nagy, Dr. Chang played a pivotal role in optimizing egg freezing techniques to meet rigorous clinical standards. His contributions led to a significant breakthrough in the field of reproductive medicine and were instrumental in the development of My Egg Bank, which has since become the largest donor egg bank in the United States.

In 2008, Dr. Chang earned the prestigious High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) certification from the American Association of Bioanalysts—the highest level of qualification required to direct a human IVF laboratory in the United States. Dr. Chang is an active member of several prominent national and international professional societies, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). He also served on the executive committee of the Society of Reproductive Biologists and Technologists within ASRM. As a respected contributor to the field, Dr. Chang has served as a scientific reviewer for leading peer-reviewed journals such as Human Reproduction, Fertility and Sterility, and Reproductive Biomedicine Online.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chang has authored or co-authored over 100 scientific articles and book chapters, with a particular focus on egg freezing and embryology. His expertise in this field has made him a sought-after mentor and speaker: peer embryologists from more than 80 IVF centers worldwide have received training under his guidance to establish their own egg freezing programs. He has been invited to speak at hundreds of medical and scientific conferences to share his groundbreaking research and clinical insights.
